Rozzano is a comune in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 9 km south of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 38,493 and an area of 12.3 km².The municipality of Rozzano contains the frazioni Quinto de' Stampi, Valleambrosia, Pontesesto, and Cassino Scanasio.Rozzano borders the following municipalities: Milan, Assago, Zibido San Giacomo, Opera, Pieve Emanuele, Basiglio.Rozzano received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree on July 21, 2003.
