Arese is a comune in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 12 kilometres northwest of Milan. Arese borders the following municipalities: Lainate, Garbagnate Milanese, Bollate, Rho, Milan.Arese received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree of October 25, 1985.
