Albignasego is a comune in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 35 kilometres west of Venice and about 7 kilometres south of Padua. As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 20,561 and an area of 21.0 square kilometres.The municipality of Albignasego contains the frazioni Carpanedo, Ferri, Lion, Mandriola, S. Agostino, S. Giacomo, S. Lorenzo, and S.Tommaso.Albignasego borders the following municipalities: Abano Terme, Casalserugo, Maserà di Padova, Padua, Ponte San Nicolò.
