Easyjet flight schedule
Based on the route and the time of the year you’re travelling on, Easyjet flight schedule and frequency can vary a lot. You can check all the departures from the closest airport doing a quick search on Wanderio. For example, having a look at Milan to Paris flights, you are able to choose among 9 connections everyday, considering the different departure and arrival airports, from 6.30am to 9.15pm. If you want to go to London from Rome instead, you can choose from 5 departure times, from 10.50am to 8.50pm.
Easyjet fleet
For all its flights, Easyjet uses the Airbus A320 that has a maximum capacity of 186 people and is efficient both on a safety and on an energetic consumption sides.
While some facilities are complimentary, others may vary based on the fare you select while booking.
Pets
Easyjet doesn’t let its customers travel with their pets, unless it is a guide dog for partially-sighted or blind people. If this is the case, you must contact the company at least 48 hours prior to the departure; however, you won’t be surcharged for its transportation.
Luggage
Whatever fare you choose when buying your ticket, you will be able to carry a hand luggage of max 56 x 45 x 25 cm (handles and wheels included). Airport baggage checks aren’t strict as far as the weight is concerned - officially, there are no limits from this point of view - but they are when it comes to dimensions, so please be sure not to exceed the size limitations provided. In case your hand luggage is too big, you will have to pay 47€ at the check-in desk (or so much as 60€ if you’re at the boarding gate). You can have a small bag more with you (max 45 x 36 x 20 cm) only if you’re travelling with a baby under 2 or if you have a Flexi ticket. Thanks to the Flexi fare, you will also have a hold luggage included in the price, while choosing the Standard you can add it to your reservation for an extra cost ranging from € 16.90 to € 39 depending on the route. In any case, your suitcase can’t be bigger than 275 cm overall (considering length, height and thickness) and weigh more than 20 kg. You can add extra bags though - up to 3 - or extra kilos to your suitcase (€ 4 per kilo if booked before the departure or € 14 per kilo if at the airport).
Special equipment
Want to travel with your musical instrument or sport equipment? You can carry them as hand luggage if they aren’t bigger than 30 cm x 120 cm x 38 cm. If your instrument is a cello though, you need to buy another ticket and place it on a seat in the cabin.
Onboard food service
Being Easyjet routes rather short, you won’t be offered complimentary food during the flight. However, you can buy paninis, drinks and some snack while on board.
Seats and assistance to the disabled
You must contact the airline at least 48 hours before the departure in order to receive the proper assistance at the airport. During the flight, you will be assigned a seat as close as possible to the toilet and to your accompanying person for free - it’s advisable to travel accompanied in fact. Also, every passenger with reduced mobility can carry up to 2 pieces of mobility equipment for free in addition to the hold luggage.
The boarding pass
You can buy Easyjet tickets at the airport (at higher prices), at a travel agency or in advance online, either on the company website or online travel agencies, such as Wanderio. The online check-in prior to the departure is mandatory and, once at the airport, it is recommended to have the printed ticket (even though the company accepts mobile tickets as well) along with the passport or the identity card. The named ticket is not transferable and is only valid for the date, route and hour and flight number written on the travel document.
For young travelers
Babies up to 23 months can travel at a fixed price of 26€ if seated on the accompanying adult's lap, while if they are on an actual seat a full-priced ticket must be bought. Children up to 13 must travel accompanied by a person who’s at least 16 years old, while those aged between 14 and 15 are allowed to travel solo.
Buying your Easyjet flight tickets online
The easiest and cheapest way to book a flight with Easyjet is to do it online, whether it is on the company official site or via online travel agencies like Wanderio. The benefit of using a service such as Wanderio is that you can compare Easyjet prices to other airlines’ for the itinerary you’re looking for, as well as compare flights to other means of transports, like trains or buses. You can try how cool it is to compare providers and means of transports either on the website or on the Wanderio App, available on the App Store for free.
Easyjet check-in
Once confirmed your reservation on Wanderio, you will receive an email with all the instructions to do the online check-in - that way, you will get your boarding pass. You can access the company website and do the check-in from 30 days to 2 hours before the departure at no cost.
Easyjet offers two fares - one is for basic services, while the other is more flexible. However, none of them lets you get a refund in case you need to cancel your booking - the only exception occurs when you do it within 24 hours from the reservation. If your name is misspelled you can have it corrected for free, regardless the fare. Changing the name completely is also possible for a surcharge of € 21 if requested at least 60 days before the departure (or € 65 if made later).
Flexi
Although it is slightly more expensive than the Standard, the Flexi benefits are quite big. For instance, you are able to modify your reservation as many times as you need for free, whether you need to change the hour or the itinerary - in this last case, if the new flight costs more, you have to pay the difference. You will also have a hold luggage included in the price and you will be able to choose where to seat at no charge, have priority boarding and receive a £ 5 voucher for getting a snack on board.
Standard
Choosing a Standard fare you can only carry a hand luggage of maximum 56 x 45 x 25 cm. When booking your flight or at the moment of the online check-in you can add a hold luggage for a fee. Also choosing the seat implies an extra cost ranging from € 2.99 to € 25.99. The same happens for any modifications to the reservation: changing the date/hour or the flight itinerary cost € 21 plus the ticket price difference when requested at least 60 days before the departure; otherwise, the surcharge is € 43 - if changes are applied during low season, that is to say from September 2nd to June 14th, or even € 65 if during high season.
