Charlottenburg Market
Just the first Berlin flea market: established 40 years ago, the Straße des 17. Juni market, in Charlottenburg, is nowadays a not-to-be-missed stop for anyone searching for vintage clothing, old records or just odd stuff to embellish their dining room. Prices are a bit more expensive than average (sellers are all professionals and collectors), but a visit to this market is worthy just for the beautiful location, with stands overlooked by the Charlottenburg Tor.

Zeughaus
Give a fancy touch to your Berlin weekend: in this colorful and original flea market, in the heart of the city, you can find paintings, statues, artworks and art photographs at reasonable prices. This is the perfect place to meet and chat with the artists, who choose this market to sell their pieces of arts.

Neue Heimat
After walking so long for the city streets you must be tired…and hungry. The place to go is Neue Hemat, at the Berlin Village Market: an authentic and cool paradise for young Berlin hipsters, created in a dismissed railway station. Every Sunday hundreds of people flock to this street food heaven, enjoying traditional flavors (currywurst and German beer above all) and ethnic delicacies (doner kebabs, Thai food, Mexican tacos and much more).

Mauerpark Flea Market
Born in 2004, this flea market located close to the remains of Berlin Wall has become in few years one of the most visited and popular among German youngsters. Enjoy a walk surrounded by many beautiful stands, where you will find 70’s vinyl records, vintage clothes, but also bicycles and antiques of all kinds. At mid afternoon, get to the arena and be sure to remember the lyrics of your favorite songs – it’s karaoke time! Pretty hungry instead? There’s a great street food area in the park as well, get there for a tasty snack.

Maybachufer
Berlin is famous for hosting one of the largest community of Turkish immigrants in Europe. And if you pass by Maybachufer, the city largest Turkish market, at Kreuznell, you’ll know. Lose yourself among dozens of stalls of fruits, vegetables, artcrafts and clothing, and you will feel like getting lost in an Istanbul suk instead of a European metropolis. At Maybachufer you can also enjoy some Turkish delicacies, such as Börek, or a more traditional Doner Kebab. Give an oriental touch to your Berlin trip! After some shopping, take a break and sit along the Landwehrkanal canal.

Nachtflohmarkt So36
Who said that you must go shopping only during daylight? One night per month, inside the well known SO36 nightclub, located in the center of Kreuzberg, there’s the Nachtoflohmarkt: as the name suggests, this is a night market where young Berliners sell, buy and exchange clothes, vynil records or artistic creations, all to the music beat.

Not just flea markets: Pick&Weight shops
Berlin offers great alternative shopping in shops as well. Enter one of the Pick & Weight shops and find a whole new way of shopping. Buy clothes and accessories and pay based on their weight. Here, you can find these shops in Mitte, Kreuzber and Schöneberg, open from Monday to Friday 11-19.
